Expression of Interest Wanjarri Station Project

ITINERARY AND EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FORMS CAN BE FOUND IN THE MEMBERS SECTION

Dear TCWA Members

We have pleasure to invite members and friends to participate on this construction Project at Wanjarri Station. September 19 – October 12 (or longer if you have the time)

This project will encompass the removal of a water tank from its stand to be relocated to the station cottage. The existing tank stand to be dismantled, due to white ant infestation.

The cottage requires guttering to be installed and some general restoration to the cottage structure.

 Some fencing around the existing well will also be required for safety situations.

A new long drop dunny will also be installed, similar to the Neale Junction dunny construction. This will feature the new 4 x 44 gallon drum model that was devised on the Neale Junction Project

This project work should only take 4 -5 days at a leisurely pace. This should allow us plenty of time to explore the features in the area such as Dingo Pool, Coongie Soak and Mt Falconer which boasts aboriginal art and rock holes.

All these features have good accessibility for camper trailers

We propose an interesting route to and from Wanjarri Station that will be outlined in the project Ittinnary.
