Track Care WA
(Inc) is a not
for profit
organisation
that is
voluntary based
that was formed
and incorporated
back in 1997.
There are five
objectives Track
Care WA base
their
foundations on,
they are…
1.
To facilitate sustainable programs of management and protection of
vehicular tracks
in Western
Australia;
particularly
those of
Indigenous and
European
significance.
2.
To assist in providing educational programmes for all track users.
3.
To promote sustainable conservation of the natural environment.
4.
To promote responsible four wheel driving as a legitimate recreational
activity.
5.
To liaise with land management authorities and other interested parties
with similar
objectives.
And of the above
five objective
Track Care WA
have two main
projects, they
are;
1.
Special Projects
2.
Track/Area
Adoptions
Special Projects
concentrates on
a wide variety
of issues that
we are faced
with as
4wdrivers at all
ages and in
nearly all areas
of WA. Many of
the projects
have been funded
by other
organisations
and governments
and these
projects can be
identified all
over WA by TCWA

Track/Area
Adoptions
is a legal
agreement
between the
Department of
Environment and
Conservation and
an adoptee with
support directed
at the adoptee
by Track Care WA
(Inc) and the
WA 4wd Association.
The hope is that
areas and tracks
are adopted by
groups so that
they are better
managed with
more resources
offered by
volunteers so
that areas and
tracks remain
open for
responsible
vehicular
recreational
use.
All of the above
equates to a
bunch of like
minded people
with the passion
to help keep our
vehicular
tracks open well
into the future
– ‘access for
the future’.
So if you
consider
yourselves
an enthusiastic 4WD
recreational
user
or you just like to explore our outback
desert regions and want to
keep areas and
vehicular tracks open, consider being apart of
one or even two
of these
worthwhile
TCWA project and
become a member
today.
Ignoring our
vehicular tracks
and areas
maintenance
is
a sure way of
having more
vehicular
tracks closed on
all of us and
we’ve lost too
many as it is.
. Please
consider jumping
on board and
helping to make
the difference.
