Event Type

The Dates will NOT change and we need more people!

Graham will be leading this project.

We will be leaving Perth on July 24, 2025 and returning around August 6, 2025.

This is working on the assembly of two glamping tents and the creation of a Walking Trail at the bottom of a Break Away on the property.  We will then pursue the creation of a four wheel drive trail around the property.

Mimbi has offered us reimbursement of some fuel costs to the tune of $4,500 which is FANTASTIC! We also have three rooms accommodation on site with King Single beds.

This is a really exciting project that should lead to even more interesting projects with this community.

We will be travelling in a convoy most likely not led by Graham which less chance of getting lost :).

Please book the ticket for the vehicle and the spaces for the number of people coming with you.  This is a trial on the booking system to see if it works.

PROPOSED PROGRAM
July 24-27.

Travelling to Mimbi caves in Convoy.  There is some flexibility on how far we drive and where we stop depending on weather and the consensus of the team. As long as we reach Mimbi caves in the evening of Sunday, July 27 all will be good. The planned route is located via this link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/wFfUFbwqoGQbLzBd8

July 28
Glamping tent erection:

As long as the instructions are as easy to implement as they are to read we should assemble both within one day. There will be two teams working in Parallel so we will need two leaders for this part of the project.

July 29- August 2
We will be working on a walking trail that follows the base of a break away in close proximity to the caravan park. A bob cat will be used to clear the trail and create the basic path.  We will be tidying that path and placing bollards at appropriate locations along the path.  If signs are ready, they are to be placed on the walking trail as a guide for walkers.  If you wish to bring your own tools please contact the project leader.

During this time we may take a half day or full day to travel the property with the aim of planning a self contained camping trailer for people to use to extend their stay at Mimbi caves.

August 3 – 6.
