Wandoo Clean Up #25 – the Annual Weekend with optional Camping
Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd and Sunday the 4th of October.
Staging Base: “Rooster Camp” – which is on private property, with easy access. (More specific detail will be to provided to all participants in email briefings closer to the weekend.)
This will be another exciting weekend smorgasbord of Camaraderie; Camping; Camp fires; Collecting rubbish; Cutting Trees-on-Tracks; Constructing road signs and Combing granites (and elsewhere) for wildflowers – and sharing the findings.
Members may camp, or elect to come out for one or more days to help out and to experience The Wandoo.
Friday:
Start collecting rubbish on the way to “Rooster Camp”.
Set up camping 12n – 3:00pm
Late afternoon exploration of some nearby granites on the property
Saturday:
Spread out into small groups with specific projects.
Sunday:
Continuing with project forays
Break camp is expected to be by 2:00pm
- Rubbish will be placed in a strategically located Skip Bin that is being provided by DBCA.
- Caravans are welcome. The campsite is just a few kilometres off bitumen, easy gravel road.
