DESCRIPTION: Wandoo TOT Lightning Flash!
Following up on a very successful 15th episode, this short notice event is to take advantage of the weather and for (probably) completing the last third of the significant driving improvement we have already achieved on this sector of Lightning Road.
The focus will be on straightening the road from the top of the ridge-line, South to Qualen Road. It is all down-hill from the ridge! (We’ll make use of Gravity to help us clear the path!!)
We’ll get to the actual work site by traversing over the beautiful clearing done on Sunday 8th June. It’s quite remarkable how good we are!!
With sharp chainsaws of all sizes, shackles and drag chains; a few crow bars (for log rolling), we’ll work as one Team to push on South. Amongst the most useful other equipment to bring: personal PPE including Safety Footwear, secateurs, loppers, weeding/gardening gloves, sturdy rakes/hoes, cordless reciprocating saws and pruning saws.
