A Sign of the Times – Flash Event/Recce
The Focus for this foray into the Wandoo National Park is SIGNS – removing some, and documenting all the rest (of all descriptions)!
We have identified 3 redundant National Park signs and 8 Water Corp signs attached to tree trunks that are to be removed. (These latter signs can be reached by ladders!)
The removed signs will fit into car boots and onto roof racks.
They are scattered around the National Park – so there will be a lot of driving/exploring to do!
Persons with OziExplorer navigator (Android or Hema HN7) are requested to join in if available – it will be great practice in getting to know the app. (Mentoring will be available.)
Photos of every sign are to be taken, with GPS co-ordinated overlaid. (Photos will be supplied to DBCA and DWER so that they can strategise their required signage throughout the area!)

P.S. Members are welcome to come along just for a look; but you must register and be there at an assigned starting point – you are unlikely to find us on Sunday if you don’t!
