“Wandoo Clean Ups” are a regular series of day (and occasional overnight) trips into the recently opened Wandoo National Park, 80 kms directly East of Perth in the Darling Range. It is here that Track Care WA volunteers are again putting into action our by-line of “Access For The Future” through a diverse range of activities including:
Clearing all Fallen Timber off the roads/tracks
Protecting Wetlands
Maintaining/replacing signage
Picking up dumped rubbish, including car bodies
Collecting litter
Documenting our activities, including videography and Reports.
Essentially, it is “4WDriving with a Purpose” within a comfortable distance from Perth, and not requiring Extreme driving skills.
As this Event Date approaches, relevant details of the Proposed Activity and the man-power and equipment requirements will be updated, and this Page will be Replaced (with a #n added). Bookings can be made at any time, until a sufficient number of responders for each task has been registered.
All activities are being undertaken in collaboration with the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions, Mundaring.
