Travelling in outback WA is a real adventure and can take you to some fantastic places but it can also be unforgiving. Water is vital for survival and that’s why Track Care has developed this database of publicly available bores. The database was started in April 2026 and at that date we only had a small number of verified bores listed. With your help we can grow this to be a really helpful resource.

The information here is for bores that are usable by the public only, so station bores will not be listed unless they are part of DBCA managed land or where Native Title holders have given permission.

This information can be freely used to help you with your travel plans but it allows you to add to this growing amount of information by submitting the relevent data below. This allows Track Care to monitor the maintenance of these bores, either by contacting the original installer or by doing the work ourselves.

Track Care only operates in WA but data that is close to the borders may still be relevent and should be submitted. Also make sure you check the current database first to see if the bore already exists. If it does, still submit the data, but make sure you add comments as to why it has changed and the information needs updating.
