Bikes to Balgo

Bikes for Humanity are a charity organisation who refurbish push bikes and distribute them to disadvantaged groups. We have done deliveries for them in the past and when an urgent requirement popped up for a delivery to Balgo community just near the top end of the CSR, they asked us if we could help.

BFH had tried many transport options but could not find anyone who could take the bikes all the way to the community and were in a real bind as they had to be delivered during school holidays so there was a surprise for the kids when they returned for next term.

Step up Phil Trainer. With short noticed, he loaded up and was on his way, but not without some drama. A 12 day trip and 6000km later here are some photos of his journey.
